As far as I know, it is still in business. However I consider it to be a bar with gogo boys rather than a strip club. There is no nudity. There is no private lap dance area either.

 

If one wants to see "gogo dancers" in Houston, the options (depending on the night of the week) are: Tony's Corner Pocket, montrose mining company, Meteor, and JR's. However I don't consider any of these places to be "strip clubs".

 

Edit: scratch Meteor from the list as it is permanently closed.

I got a little scoop from a Houston guy I hired as an escort who also works at Tony's Corner Pocket and it echos @EZEtoGRU 's comments. Because of the laws they have frequent "amateur night"'s but nothing every happens in the club. There are no private areas nor any sort of lap/table dancing, though you might cop a quick feel if you're generous and he's willing. There's little engagement of dancers for after-hours private time elsewhere.

 

(I've not been and can't personally confirm the above as fact.)
