I know it now, I'm going to get my nuts cut off about this thread but fuck it anyway. I been a member on here since 2002, I know that's not a long time compare to a lot of others. If it was not for this site I would have never met a lot of damn nice escorts, some are big names escorts and some I would call them regulars escorts. It's a lot better than picking up a street hustler, that was a little dangerous back then or someone from the chat room that I know nuttin about, just screen name with a profile.

 

Now I know I'm at fault at times also but don't some of you guys get tired of all the mud slinging that goes on here. I don't think a week goes by without someone attacking an escort because of some reason and again I'll say I'm at fault at times also in the past. Sometimes it just gets so carry away and drags on for weeks. Now we got a thread going on who is a super star escort, what bull shit. We each have our own super star in our eyes and that's cool, different strokes for different folks. What someone may like from a big name escort could mean I may not like and the same goes around on what I like in an escort, we all don't have the same taste. Just think how small the escort world would be if we all had the same taste in an escorts.

 

One of the principle reasons I thought this site was set up for was to review escorts, not to mud sling back and forth, also I thought that we were all adults and not children. YES, we are entitle to our options, the last time I checked it still is a free country. Can't we all enjoy the message like adults and not like fighting children stabbing each other in the back. Now I can see why some of the old time posters leave.

I actually think it has gotten a LOT better since the end of that fraud which passed as an election.Even that was mostly isolated in the flames and freaks(sorry-politics and religion-wrong message center)section.

When someone misposts something that belongs in the Lies and Mythology(sorry-politics and religion)or states some truley dunderheaded comments without thinking it through then the snaps start up.

I do think we have learned to get along a little better-without having to be overly censored,and that is a BIG improvement over last year when some of the posters were asked to cool it or leave.

Will this site ever be 100% drama/conflict free?Of course not.It would be a bloody bore if it were.

One solution would be for more Hoovillians to actually meet face to face.It might be that one is less likely to sling mud at someone you have broken bread or raised a glass with,but I find very few of the folks who have made such an effort are not likely to slam their new found friends.On the other hand there are posters on this board who are lacking in any social graces or desire for companionship and those folks are the ones that are lashing out constantly and patheticly against so many others on this board.

All in all this is a web based message center,and like most of them there is going to be a lot of this nastiness.The alternative is a boring site(such as aol's chat rooms)or an overly moderated and heavily censored message center.I would love to see some of the trolls here killed(I mean that in a figurative and not literal sense }( )but all in all unless someone really crosses a line I will let them live their misereable,lonely lives without comment.

I agree that we could possibly tone down the mud slinging a little bit. I also agree that it has gotten a lot better in recent times; I for one have learned to stick my tongue in cheek (or even sometimes, up some nice smooth escort's ass).

 

However, the drama will never disappear completely and that is actually OK with me in a forum (or a society) that has guidelines to follow but is ultimately dedicated to free speech.

 

The idea about meeting fellow HooBoy members is a GREAT idea; I'd go for it. I live in NYC, have NEVER been to the Gaiety, but think it about it often and I can think of lots of other things that us east coast clients could possibly do together. (Like dish in person instead of online <SMILE> ).

 

And just to really stir things up, wouldn't be a bad idea to invite a few escorts (if they're willing and OFF the clock) to get together and break some bread or a bottle of wine with us.

 

The holidays have nothing to do with my flowing attitude; its actually the two bottles of sparkling wine. But, oh well.

Is it possible that some of those that you "brand" as trolls, just might "brand" you as the same? That said, I don't find any of the regular posters here to be trolls, just because they don't always agree with my pov, especially when they do so, without the name calling that some of those who "don't" consider themselves as trolls engage in so often. And especially, when they don't assume to set themselves up as "judges" who can deign to let them "live" and abide here! And I especially love it when they don't engage in amatuerish pyschoanalysis, sight unseen no less, and diagnose them as living "miserable, lonely lives".
