I recently hired an escort who surprised me when we met.

 

As usual, before we met, I told him what I was expecting - including mutual oral. He said that was fine.

 

When we got started and reached the oral part of our encounter - he looked at me and said he only performs oral on someone wearing a condom and only receives it if he is wearing one as well. That is not a worthwhile experience for me, so all of a sudden we had a lot less to do.

 

I was annoyed by this. Clearly, he should have told me beforehand - but the bigger question is - Do you find this is a common practice with escorts you've hired? I'm well-aware of safe sex practices, but for me, this version of oral sex is pointless and I would avoid hiring an escort with this policy altogether.

 

I have hired many escorts - and he was the first to ever say this. (Note: He is an established escort with years of escorting under his belt).

 

Is this becoming something more common among escorts?

Hasn't happened to me, and probably won't, because I specifically request that he cum in my mouth, in spite of the occasional criticism here that I am treating him like a cum machine. I bring it up early on, while he can still decline my offer. I also understand that he might not be able to ejaculate on cue, and that's okay, too. At least we will be clear that I intend to suck him "bareback" and it is the single most important thing to me. Yes, a condom between my tongue and his cock would be a deal breaker. May I add that I have a complete STD, STI, HIV check up every 3 to 4 months, and I have all the Hepatitis, meningitis, HPV shots. I'm not looking to endanger him or myself. happened to me once or twice in which the escort announced - at the meet - that I'd need to wear a condom....I'm sorta ok with it as I respect his concern for safety....and there are other ways to have fun

With the increasing prevalence of multiply drug-resistant STI's, I'm not in the least bit surprised. Not a bad idea, actually. I suspect it would be getting more common among escorts with understanding of the situation ad a solid sense of self-preservation.

I haven't seen anyone claiming that PrEP is gonna protect against other STI's, I think we are all aware of the purpose of PrEP. Sex carries with it some level of risk, as does driving a car or crossing the street, we just have to decide which steps we can take to lessen our risks. For some, wearing a condom for oral is necessary for them to feel they are doing everything they can to prevent contracting an STI, for others the risk is worth the reward, especially considering that most STI's are easily treatable.

 

The talk of drug-resistant STI's, especially ghonorrhea is nothing new. The treatment of ghonorrhea has changed many times over the years as it has evolved and developed resistance. I personally don't enjoy sucking dick with a condom on it and am willing to wear one when my dick is getting sucked, but it's certainly not ideal. I've only had it requested about 3 times in my career.

That's a very uncommon practice and in your case I would have walked away... I have never given head to someone wearing a condom and I'll never will.

 

It would definitely be a deal breaker for me, @InterestingGuy, definitely.

 

it's beyond that it's hypochondriac.

Total deal-breaker. I would rather jack myself off than PAY to deal with that. In fact, even if he was offering his services for free, I'd take a pass... IMHO, mutual oral while wearing condoms is right up there with jacking off someone who's wearing a haz-mat suit in terms of sexiness. No thanks.

In response to your query-- I've only had one massage therapist put a condom on me and begin to "blow me," but in terms of escorts, the only time that condoms were used for oral was when I was in Rio de janeiro, and that only happened once! But, if an escort requires that both of us wear a condom, I'd abort the session, give him 1/2 of his fee if not less and discontinue!

 

As you stated--his reluctance to suck you raw and vice versa should have been presented up front!

I had an escort who told me beforehand that he doesn't have any non-obvious limitations. When I met him, he told him he doesn't give BJs. I was surprised because he was gay, and he must have known that a BJ is like the main event of man-on-man action. So clearly this is an obvious limitation. After that, I started to become more specific about these things.

I state early in my contact with a new escort that I expect mutual oral without condom. I have never had an escort balk and it he did it WOULD BE A DEAL BREAKER.

 

It would never even occur to me to specify mutual oral "without a condom". Requiring a condom to give and get a blowjob is enough of an outlier that the escort should specify that requirement in his ad. Preferably bolded and in ALL CAPS.

Of course the problem is that some people are being hospitalised in order to receive IV antibiotics of last resort to treat gonorrhoea now, so the next step is complete resistance. Not that I'll be sucking with a condom any time soon.
