Hi guys

 

I want to go to Boston or Chicago for a weekend. So I was wondering if there´s some hot places to visit.

To my knowledge there are not even any male strip clubs in Boston - let alone nude ones. Closest would be on the entire opposite side of the state in Springfield, The X-Room, roughly a 1-1/2 to 2 hour ride down the Pike to get there.

i've been there a couple of times and saw two so-so dancers at most. On one night i was there a dancer told me he was

also working at a gay club in Boston on another night, but i didn't make note of it since i wasnt going to be there that night.

They don't have full nudity, but they do have lap dances. They're not very private, but that sometimes doesn't stop the dancers from being a little frisky.

 

So do lap dances happen somewhere in the back? Is there like a back room? I am not sure what a lap dance can look like if I am sitting at a table near the bar or, even worse, at the bar. Do I get to see the dancer's dick? How about other patrons around me? Any touching allowed?

 

The reason I am bringing this up is that I am considering checking it out but don't see the point if I can see the same at the beach. No matter how attractive a guy is I don't see any reason to tip or pay cover if all he is going to do is dance on the bar in his undies. Please don't tell me that they expect tips for talking to or even hugging patrons, that is so g-rated and dorky :).

Those are good questions. The establishment has basically four separate rooms. The first room has a large bar and an elevated stage area, then a small thin room with a bar, then a recessed room with a stage and some chairs, then a back room with a bar. I've only ever seen lap dances in the back two rooms. Dancers definitely "work the floor" for tips. Dancers sometimes wear jock straps, but frontal nudity is not allowed. Other patrons might peek at you while you get a lap dance, but I didn't see staring. If you're subtle and polite, you might get away with copping a feel or more. I usually have had a good experience when I've been to the Lucky Horshoe.

OK, I was bored yesterday and decided to brave the horrendous weather to try the Horseshoe! It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either, especially if you've been to Montreal :-(

 

It is probably tight regulations that they are facing, but I found myself questioning the idea of a "strip bar" in which you don't ever see full nudity. I am sure that there are more (and probably hotter?) dancers on Friday and Saturday, but the crew was still pretty good Sunday night, several twinks and a couple of manlier and athletic guys too. I like that more "mainstream" next door type look than the overworked muscle guys that sometimes dominate the scenes in Montreal and/or NYC.

 

I got one lap dance and left. They do it on a chair in one of the back rooms (which are still big and airy), I am not sure whether I was more bothered by the lack of privacy or the fact that you can sneak a peek and touch your dancer but they are obviously not allowed to slide down their jock strap. Lots of rubbing against you, though, and some acrobatic poses, so if you are into that you'll be happy. I just don't see any compelling reason to tip guys wearing undies for hugging me and me rubbing their backs and asses, so it was a short night.

 

Montreal is really a league of its own, and if NYC (been to Adonis and Monster) is the second division, this is the 3rd. Mainly because you get a booth with some privacy and slightly more nudity in NYC. Although Horseshoe is a really nice and comfortable space and everyone was super-friendly. They have plenty of space so they could set up some booths but it could be that they are not allowed to. Or they could try nude parties NYC style, to which I haven't been but they sound like the closest you can to Montreal type of experience without going to the great white north.

In -- as noted, Puritanical -- Boston, best thing may be The Eagle. Nothing to do with NYC's leather-bar Eagle! Rather, the best gay dive bar in town.

No. There's no lap dance area. There's no private or even semiprivate area. There are two sections of the bar, and the back bar is slightly walled around in the middle, allowing for small cocktail tables where groups sit and lap dances can happen. If you've ever been to a straight strip club, it's basically the equivalent of getting a clothed lap dance at an empty table (if any are available).

 

Frankly, Lucky Horseshoe is not a strip club. It's a bar with a dozen gogo dancers.
