A couple of weeks ago I was in NYC, my old stomping grounds, for a job interview that I was hoping would bring me back. (Sadly I didn't get it. Fuck.) Anyway, the evening of/after the interview, I decided to pop into Fairy Tails since it was a Wednesday and I knew that was the big Adonis night. I showed up early because I was hoping to pay no cover (it was still $5), but hung out at the bar, chatted with other patrons, and drank cheap gin-and-tonics until the dancers showed up.

Warning #1... (some of) these boys are AGGRESSIVE, especially if the place isn't particularly full. At one point I went to go piss and as soon as I came back into the bar area, this HUGE guy literally GRABBED me (I'm about 5' 10", average build--this guy was easily six inches taller than me and massive), pushed me into the "lap dance" area (it's basically benches along one wall behind a translucent scrim-type curtain--you can see out when you're inside, but can't see in), and tried to force himself on me. It was honest-to-god the closest thing I've ever felt to being raped. I told him no multiple times and finally had to just stand up, push past him, and go back outside.

Warning #2... (some of) the hygiene is questionable. There was one boy that I did actually like, who I did do a lap dance with; he was even pretty aggressive himself (in a good way), taking his underwear off and being pretty insistent that I suck his dick. I... didn't... and... kind of couldn't, either... because he had a distinct "funk" that emanated directly from his uncut penis. Now, normally I am the bandleader for anti-circumcision efforts, but honey, you have to wash yourself. It's like not washing your butthole. I found that so off-putting that I cut our time short together.

These things said: This was my third or fourth visit to FT, and this was the first time I've ever experienced either of these "issues" (which I'm sure are not uncommon to any similar venue). Nevertheless, I felt it worthwhile to at least note my experience for my fellow connoisseurs.

I assume your comments here will find their way to manager Tim in some way and he'll handle them......he is a good guy and wants things to be right......

For starters, Tim could hire a mohel:

The big Adonis night onWednesdays is at Atlas Social Club, not Fairytales. Dancers at fairytale are pushier sun-thu because there are shows on other places . But yeah, it can get intense sometimes and some do have a distinctive essence sometimes

Think many of the dancers in any of the bars in NYC (adoinis, Spunk, Fairytail) are aggressive. Just say no and they will stop. I don't know if it needs to be a warning for Fairytail, but all places with aggressive guys.

In regards to the "smell". I can't agree with you more....such a turnoff. Just recently a very hot looking well built Venzulian guy had a lap dance with me. Got to a point and dropped his shorts and asked if I would suck him. I was thrilled, but then I smelled the odor. Gross. These guys spend so much time taking care of themselves to look good but I guess forget about hygiene down there

Was the guy with the funk Joey? I stopped getting lapdances from him after he slid down his briefs and grinded on my crotch and then my khakis smelled like dirty ass - and I had to take the train home like that. I couldn't tell if he didn't know or he secretly hates everyone and he does this deliberately.

I recall one dancer complaining that a lot of the current venues don't really have a place where the boys can clean off between customers if necessary(and on a long night they can really work up a sweat). One of the reasons I go early and leave early typically.

Another problem with many dancers is bad breath. On two occasions i had to give them one of my mints. Tim and Luis - if you are reading this, please consider having a jar of mints and a Purrell dispenser at the entrance of the lap dance rooms.

and BTW OP must be lucky since no dancer in the past 7 years ever insisted that i suck his junk. And i haven't ever. And while i am complaining can i also add that the lap dance rooms tend to be so dark/ dimly lit. I am sure there are other opinions but i prefer to clearly see the candy i am paying for. But overall these clubs are total fun and i hope they continue forever and thrive.

Spunk on Thursday does gave mints and Purcell right before you end the lapdance area. I'm not thrilled that sound are so dark. Spunk has the best lighting in the lapdance area. At times they make it really dark...hard that. I like to see what I'm paying for. Fairytail would be hard to light up as the curtains are very thin and everyone would see through it. I don't know why since they have dancers every night, they don't get thick curtains and put some light in there

OMG I got a lap dance from Joey one time and it smelled like pure unfiltered organic ASS and I said NEVER AGAIN! That was years ago at El Morocco, I can't believe he's still dancing at these clubs smelling like that! How unfortunate!

Fairytail is one of my least favorite venues but I went this weekend and actually had a good time.

I won't list all my favorites but that Marcus from Miami is built like an Adonis. Head to toe perfection! And you'd be surprised by the talent they don't advertise in the emails. I might have to fit another visit in this week.

I usually have a good time at Fairy tail. Some times are better than others. I am very picky about who i do lap dances with. Some times that means i don't do any. But this is true at any strip club. Some nights are great some are good and some are not. I hope it's fun this Wednesday when i go there again.

Yeah, I knew that was the case but I also didn't want to pay the cover there... clearly I got what I (didn't) pay for...

FWIW there is a pattern of more aggressive Adonis dancer behavior in NYC compared to LA. I've discussed this with several fellow dancers over the years.

If you experience a hygiene issue with a dancer, particularly one you're giving/about to give money, I suggest manning up and politely letting him know about an issue that may be impacting his money. That's sad that a grown azz man can't take care of his business, but if the shoe fits, IMO he should be professionally but firmly apprised. One could even argue that the dancer is lacking professionalism by letting the wrong kind of funk (as in, not the Chic* kind) be a part of his game. Just my 5 cents.

I think this is great advice but I'm not the best at couching things that might be taken in an offensive way... if it were you, how would you (literally) say what needed to be said?

@Doctore: First of all, shame on me/us for not explicitly welcoming you to the forum. (After joining last month, I dig that you seemingly skipped any lengthy "lurker" phase and have gone straight to starting a thread that, amongst other things, brings up smelly dick not six weeks into your tenure here!) :)

Bless you for being concerned about lack of tact. But I would posit that some of my fellow Adonis dancers are already demonstrating tactless behavior with their hard hustling customers into the lapdance/champagne room and then wanting head despite poor hygiene. (This is a difference I've noted between "dancers" who do "privates" versus more professional escorts who would take that business elsewhere for a better experience [albeit for more money]. But that's a whole 'nother horse of somewhat different color. And I understand that, as in evidence right here in this thread, there are customers who prefer to get their swerve on right there on the club/bar premises. Word.)

I think you've already shown you know what needs to be said: "Now, normally I am the bandleader for anti-circumcision efforts, but honey, you have to wash yourself. It's like not washing your butthole." Like Denzel says to Ethan Hawke in Training Day: "Speak on it, son!" :)

Tell him you're, um, down--literally--but that you wanna wash his dick. Maybe even make it about you if you wanna be masochistic about it: Fall on your sword and don't even mention the hygiene problem--say it's a turn on to wash a dude's dick before you blow him. IIRC when I was last working at Fairy Tail, there's only one restroom: Tell him to follow you in there after 30 seconds. You can even be all Mission: Impossible about it and give him a knock pattern to use on the door to know it's him since you should consider locking it right after you enter so as to minimize the possibility of third parties delaying the proceedings. Offer him, say, three Jacksons on top of the lapdance charge: That's why he's wanting you to blow him in the first place. Mo' money.

(I'd be "shocked . . . SHOCKED . . ." if you surmised a certain L.A.-based hunky muscle escort who posts on these boards and sometimes hits Adonis NYC has gone into that very same restroom with a customer to give/receive French lessons.) :p

(If a certain NYC boss reads this or it is otherwise brought to his attention, I will send out Sean Spicer to prevaricate, dissemble and say it's fake news.)
