Meet Quasimodo - the adorable hunchbacked German shepherd who's melting hearts online

 

Dog-lovers are queueing up to adopt a super-cute stray German shepherd afflicted with a hunchback.

 

Quasimodo is one of only 14 dogs ever known to have short spine syndrome.

 

And the gorgeous pup is having way too much fun to be worried about how his condition looks to the outside world.

 

The amazing rescue dog - named after the character in the 1831 Victor Hugo book The Hunchback of Notre-Dame - has all the charm of the original.

 

Quasimodo was discovered living as a stray dog in Kentucky until last week.
