Wonder if people are beginning to sense the end of this site. We haven't had reviews here in months. Understand the owner is struggling, and I'm sorry for this. But someone is gonna fill the void. Hope things work out for the best for all.

So the original post is regarding a RM type site to meet other pros...

 

Regarding your comment about the reviews...the administrators have made it very clear that this site (the forum) and the review site are two different entities. The forum has had no real interruption and still is adding users to it as I see new folks regularly. While it does seem that many of the posters from a year ago may not be active any more, many pros for example seem to be MIA or posting less (Lance, Mike, Juan, etc) but they are still posting. It does not appear that this site is nearing the end, maybe just going through a transition.

 

The review site on the other hand does seem to be on hiatus or possibly closed to new reviews, but that would be a question for Daddy to answer I suppose.

Competition with RM and this very site is always a good thing. It keeps everybody on their toes.

According to the splash page of Daddy's Reviews, which as @jeepo1 mentioned is a separate site, the review site is under re-construction. The technology backbone is obsolete and the site owner is looking for ways to offer a broader service offering in conjunction with upgrading the technology platform. Given JOCK2GO is an escort ad site with perfunctory reviews (along the lines of RM outside of the US) I would not attribute the development of that site to the hiatus on this site. If anything, it augments RM and seeks to fill the void left when Rentboy went away, albeit with better review functionality.

This is probably because of a delivery problem with automatic emails from the server. I've had a similar issue with my website - emails automatically generated by my server get kicked back (never delivered) from many email servers. I've even blocked AOL and qq.com email addresses from joining my site because of this problem. It's likely that smaller email servers think an automatically generated email (such as registration confirmation or notification emails) don't get delivered. As you can imagine, if users register for a site and never get a confirmation email, you can end up with angry or confused clients, and a loss in business - I'm guessing only allowing hotmail, gmail and yahoo is their attempt to mitigate this issue.
