Well then count me among the sick, I think it's pretty damned hot. As long as you are talking about two consenting adults, and they arent making retarded babies, who cares?

anyway...hell i'm a kentuckian and even I think incest is sick,it's not cool for family members (and in particular adult family members)to participate in any kind of sexual activity with each other.

is it drinking to excess until i pass out?

is is paying young guys for sex?

is it not having the strength of my convictions?

is it making committments i have neither the courage nor moral strength to fulfill?

i could go on...but i think you get the picture.

so no ...by your convulted standards i don't have a life,and all i can say is thank you god...thank you god for sparing me your idea of a life.

In the context of two consenting adult siblings of the same sex, can you provide a rationale for your disgust that goes beyond the abomination argument that I infer from your comments. Those of us here that participate in gay sex in the mainstream, so to speak, or on the periphery have been painted with the abomination brush for millenia and found the color and finish wanting.

 

Rational considerations prohibiting sex between parent and child or siblings of different gender are obvious and include the risk of unacceptable reproduction consequences or domination and control issues between parent and child. (Not to mention the ratinonales that apply to sex with children in general.) It is not obvious that these rationales generally apply to adult same-gender siblings

biological family is the single most important thing in my life,i find it even more important than my relationship with jeff, therefore i do not believe we should compromise the "biological" family by crossing over from the bonds of emotional love and fulfillment to that of a sexual one.

In this case what "getting a life" means is not being so fucking judgemental. You are without a doubt the most judgemental poster on this board. Did it ever occur to you that you are not always right?

Yes: that the emotional relationship between siblings is radically altered if they come to view each other as sex objects.

I was just reading in today's Times the tangled story of the sexual relationships among three of the main actors in the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal. The people involved all seem to be the sort of trashy individuals who are quick to reject any standards of behavior that might interfere with their physical pleasures. I think their story is a classic example of what happens when people are so dedicated to gratifying their own desires that they don't stop to think there might be good reasons for the standards they are rejecting.

So it is okay if a brother and sister have sex so long as they take precautions to avoid pregnancy?

My first sexual experience was giving my older brother a blow job. He was 14; I was ten. I doubt if that experience was highly unusual. He is straight; we never talk about it.

Abu wasn't a case of consenting adults. Adult incest is.
