In the context of two consenting adult siblings of the same sex, can you provide a rationale for your disgust that goes beyond the abomination argument that I infer from your comments. Those of us here that participate in gay sex in the mainstream, so to speak, or on the periphery have been painted with the abomination brush for millenia and found the color and finish wanting.

 

Rational considerations prohibiting sex between parent and child or siblings of different gender are obvious and include the risk of unacceptable reproduction consequences or domination and control issues between parent and child. (Not to mention the ratinonales that apply to sex with children in general.) It is not obvious that these rationales generally apply to adult same-gender siblings

I was just reading in today's Times the tangled story of the sexual relationships among three of the main actors in the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal. The people involved all seem to be the sort of trashy individuals who are quick to reject any standards of behavior that might interfere with their physical pleasures. I think their story is a classic example of what happens when people are so dedicated to gratifying their own desires that they don't stop to think there might be good reasons for the standards they are rejecting.
