Le Boy and Boardwalk

Hey guys. Wanted to say I did a VIP dance at both place. Boardwalk is no longer doing the $3o bracelets however still cheaper than LeBoy. Both guys did what I wanted. I had Aron at Le Boy and Yankee at Boardwalk. PM Me if you have more questions.

Recently spent a few days in Fort Lauderdale too. Not going to start a new thread because it'd pretty redundant - nothing really has changed since my last visit.

 

Sean continues to drag the experience down. One upside, the patio now has a tent-style roof and they redid the area near where the grill was. And they still have the shower which is a cool idea. But all the stuff he's done since the move from Johnny's is still why my trips are getting more and more spaced apart. The private dance rate structure is awful. Way overpriced and the boys only get a fraction of the money. A beer costs $10. ATM surcharge is $12 to take out $200. Oh but they'll market the hell out of the fact there's no cover charge. Wooptie do. The ATM surcharge is a prime example of Sean's terrible management. Wouldn't you want people to take more money out? They're obviously going to spend it. Why would you charge a fee 400% higher than a bank? So stupid.

 

No eye candy behind the bar anymore at LeBoy either. Sawyer is gone. The bartenders are cool and friendly don't get me wrong. But when you're going to a twink strip club, having an older staff just seems like a weird choice. Lots of dancers on stage who've been there a long time. A few cute guys though - and surprisingly a few buff muscle heads. But this is probably the 4th or 5th trip in a row where I didn't do any private dances. At Johnny's, I'd usually do 2 or 3 a night. Instead I just tip the boys but I leave hornier than when I went in. What good is that? lol

 

Glad you had fun at Boardwalk - it's just a pregame spot for me. Yankee was one I played with a few years ago - he still looks good. But yeah, Boardwalk visit was short... long enough to have one drink and that's pretty much it. The dancers all look like they came from 70s porn. But in BW's defense, I didn't say any later than 8 or 9 so maybe some hotter guys came in later. I also am more into college age guys.

Le Boy: I sorta like the timed rate instead of the song-counting which was always a ripoff I thought. Does LeBoy post the share given to the dancer? I thought they did but may be mistaken. I just mean if you do the math out, between parking, $10 bottles of beer, house fees paid by the dancer, house fees paid by the customer... the boys get a fraction of the money and they are the reason we're all going in the first place. If I wanted a Bud Light I can grab a 6 pack the Publix a mile from the club. These guys don't have an easy life. Many have to keep other jobs. And think of it from their perspective... you're going off to a dark booth to get up close and intimate with someone 3 times your age. They're probably drunk. To put it nicely, they're not your type. And from the $150 the customer probably is spending that night, you as the dancer are only half that if you're lucky.

Yeah stay far away from LeBoy then lol... actually there were a couple muscular guys the past time I went, but they just seem so out of place. You'd do better in Montreal. Stock sounds like it's right up your alley.

Either poor managment or they are preparing to make the place look profitable on paper so they can sell it.... Johnson's has just opened and it is a better location offering a lot more. (but probably no twinks)

I know that I am in the minority here, but LeBoy is my favorite dancer bar. I hope it stays around for a while longer. I started going when it was still Johnny's down on Broward, and objected when they moved, but I have gotten used to the place now. I hope I don't ruffle any feathers by saying that.

I'm glad it's there. I just miss the party that was Johnny's. If LeBoy was to disappear, I'd miss it no doubt. When they first switched, they started off with a bang. All the positives of Johnny's with none of the negatives. But then Sean tried to clone the other strip bars and forgot that people liked his place for a reason - it was different. Trying to copy everything Swinging Richards did is when things went downhill for me. It's still certainly my favorite dancer bar in Ft Lauderdale too. But if they were as easy to get to, Taboo, Campus and Lux would all rank higher.

Not even sir. I like it as well and stop by ever trip to S FL, for at least one drink or two. I think the above comments were that we wish they would do more with it or at least manage it better so it does survive and stay open.

 

I remember further back when it was on the back side of BackStreets, or was it on the back side of The ClubHouse on Oakland... haha, either way it is a national treasure. -xx

I also like it! There are a lot of Airbnbs nearby so it's an easy walk. No cover. Plus I've liked a lot of the dancers especially the Latino ones.
