I finally tuned in to the other site and read a few posts there. Boy they surely are a viscious bunch. Suspect they will tear the place apart around themselves.

It's amazing how the two of you can post about "how awful" the "Mean Girls Club" is and in almost the same thought engage in the exact same behavior that you claim to find so repugnant. This is a fascinating study in hypocrisy and contradiction. Is it possible that you truly cannot see that both of you are far more vicious than the members of the Mean Girls Club?

This site has improved in several ways since Hooboy's death, especially in the reponsiveness to questions and the quick postings of reviews.

What did not change was the feeling that all of HooBoy's wishes need to be carried out, no matter what. For example, an objective reading of Benjamin Nicholas' 15 Minutes would indicate immediately that the blog needs to be terminated or revamped. Blog after blog extols the virtues of expense hotels in Vegas, Florida and elsewhere in detail after boring detail. On one level it is pathetic, on another very annoying.

 

I want this site to continue, but fully understand why the other site was created. Please do not turn this into another Benjamon Nicholas bashing. For someone who has not been around here very much in the last two months, reading his blogs was a surprise after that break, because it is so obvious that's gone off the track. Nichols' blog was just the most obvious problem that I believe people could relate to quickly; there are several others as well. Good luch to the other board. I do not think it will succeed in the long run, because of the quality and backlog of escort reviews here, but nice try.

Suggestions for this board

 

I don't have any comments about the other board. Besides hoping that the folks who post there get what they want out of the experience.

 

As for the suggestion alan made regarding the blogs I would point out that BN is the only one responsible for his blog. As I'm sure he would be happy to point out. I don't think there is any other connection with this site besides the link on the banner

 

Since there are other escort blogs perhaps that spot could call up a drop down menu of all that want to be linked. I think the prominent placement implies a lot more than is really true. Unless BN is paying for the spot and then of course, it makes sense then.

At least Four Aces finally called these guys on their vicious postings, although he left out Doug's fascination with heads shattered by baseball bats, taylor's desire to stick pins in someone's eyes, woodlawn's morbid death watch on me, and woodlawn's...oops, traveller's boast that he would give Doug the bat to shatter someone's head if he could have the second whack!

 

One would assume that advocates of free speech might advocate other principled stands, such as privacy and human dignity, but these guys are into an adolescent Lord of the Flies battle where they are attacking each other when not attacking us.

 

The skinhead in chief over there was once a guest in my home who pretended to be my friend. Now he hosts a website where they take bets on how soon I will be dead, and offer advice on my best way to die. (suicide on tv) He has not made a peep of protest either on my behalf or on the behalf of the guys Doug wants dead.

 

You'd think there would be more than Four Aces to stand up and say how horrific that place has become. But Eastbayperson can only add spell check and wonder if the eye candy has been photo-shopped. (But he rescues lost dogs!) It's a very sad situation. He assumes he can hide from this nastiness, but it's about time he got some balls and asked himself how his site became such a cesspool.

The other site does often resemble a lawless jungle, where verbal terror

is parceled out to the "old regime," sort of like Paris after the French revolution. I may be too small a fish to ever get attacked as severly as Lucky, Boston Guy and Tri. Frankly, I do not disagree that much with most of the comments made about Tri, and to some degree, BG. Both have often showed their pompous sides of this site (as have I). There are finally being called on it big time.

If you really read the threads on the other site you would quickly see what "Tri" posted about the people here. Obviously you picked one or two posts to read and your comments above now have little meaning.

I don't support or not support this site or escortspeak. However, your assessment is off the wall about escortspeak. I suspect like most you have read a small group of posts and added nothing more.

Like all of us, BG has his faults. But he is one of the good guys here, and that should be clear. If you were to pick someone here that you would like to meet, BG is at the top of my list.

 

Also, you only have to look to the South of America forum to see the monumental contributions tri made here. Yes, he has his faults as well, but doesn't the good stuff get credit too?

Sure and lets give him credit for closing the South of the boarder forum as well. After all he and Drey opened their own message center and have taken all of those posters from daddy. Which means fewer hits here and less income.

 

"Tri" is a great guy who in the posts I read at escortspeak couldn't talk highly enough about daddy, deej and others behind the scenes here, a real stand up guy Lucky.

 

At least the Doug's of the world don't wear two masks when posting.

SO? Is it their job to provide Daddy with income? I even doubt that site hits on the MC determine income on any level. Isn't it their prerogative to start their own message board? Stupid logic! At least they didn't steal a site, and claim the income as their own.

 

This site was created, maintained, and promoted by Hooboy; and Hooboy clearly stated, through THIS board, what his wishes were concerning the heir of the site's income. It's unfortunate, at least as it appears, that these wishes were not clearly spelled out through estate planning.

I'm a lowly lurker here, but have read the goings-on and developments here for a few years...have not paid too much attention to who is trouble and who isn't...after reading this thread, though, I have to say that too many people take this all too seriously...MAN...anger, insecurity, and serious lack of self-esteem are entirely evident in many posters here...the naonymity and freedom of wide open boards allows these wild posts, but JEEZ...go out and develop some other hobbies...call up Mom, go for a walk, say "hi" to the neighbors, volunteer somewhere, go pick up some trash along the road, but, man, don't take it all so seriously...no fun here....
