Thankfully the Brits stopped hanging gay men around 1825. Thomas Jefferson believed English common law treatment of gay men too severe, and instead proposed cutting our nutz off if caught doing the hanky panky. Americans have never come close to the insidious cruel treatment of gay men that the Brits spread 'round the world.

 

Thank-you for sharing that about TJ; I was unaware of that. I did a quick google and found several articles confirming that but as they were xian sites I do not want to post them.
