Has there ever been a proposed "standard" for post titles?

I find the titles that include the name of the provider and city work way better than the generic ones without context.

411 on Jared in Hoboken, NJ

vs.

411 on this guy that's new?

Any thoughts?

We did, but we had trouble sending the electric shock to the keyboard when they didn't comply. Same with omitting the link.

But seriously...your post should be pinned to the top of the "Deli" and "Spa."

I have this same thought about many people at work who don't see the value of a good subject line in their emails :-) I know I'm more likely to check out a discussion here if the title gives more information (city, name, whatever). I've thought about bringing up this topic before, but just didn't have the motivation to try to push people to do what should seem obvious.

Its a good idea.. clear, informative thread titles.

Might work in a very heavily moderated environment.

As a general observation... regulating or standardizing anything online that involves human compliant behavior.... is futile.

Well, escorts who are traveling seem to be fully compliant with the requirement that is pinned there. Why would we not be in the deli and the regional forums too?

I particularly don't like the WEHT What's his name. Not real helpful.

Having posted a WEHT, I'd like to defend it a bit. Where I'm close to some of my providers, I don't know others as well. So if they phase out of the business, change their name or something, or even just change to a site I don't watch a lot, I don't find out. Now, I expect that. I fully understand that escorts won't contact everyone they saw even once to tell them they are changing names, leaving escorting, or whatever. But for the ones I have liked visiting, I want to have the opportunity to visit again.

A number of the posters here have shown that they know a good number of escorts, and many have established relationships that mean if the provider has left, someone may know about it. There is a low possibility of it, but there is a chance.

So once I've posted asking if anyone knew of a provider that had stopped visiting my area. I thought there was a chance that someone could have been a regular of his, and might know if he had exited or something. Happily, the guy I was asking about is advertising again - on a different site with a different name. When I head to his area, I'll be connecting again.

I think it's natural to wonder what happened to someone you've had great sex with, especially when that can be 'arranged' like it can in this hobby. I know they will find husbands (or wives) and move on, but I like to know so I don't have to just wonder.

Clearly you missed the point of my post. Perhaps I was too obtuse in its writing. WEHT posts are fine if they list the Escort or Topic. WEHT What's his name, clearly is not a title that gives much information. I was campaigning for some clarity in the titles by giving an extreme example of an unhelpful title. I know that once you have to explain a joke it is not really funny, so I will move on to another thread.

Because being able to post here impacts their business, whereas there's less incentive for client compliance. Annoying that side of the equation is likely to drive people elsewhere rather than result in compliance.

Fair enough, how about an "officially recommended" format?

No penalty for not following it, but no help from some of the members either.

To be super clear I wasn't meaning a mandatory compliance-based standard, I get how difficult that might be to enforce.

Though it does strike me that if there was a "recommended standard" we could refer people to- I am sure a number of people on here would help as the "title police" LOL

Gee, we were all hoping you were serious. I'll tell them to halt electric shock delivery development. And they were so close.

I can't see that ever happening here on the Forum. Uh-uh.

BTW: Your sentence structure is awkward and the dash is not the proper punctuation mark. :p
