Guest Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Nick McGough was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He began dancing at the age of 3 following in his sister’s footsteps. He went on to continue his training at local studios until high school when he attended the Las Vegas Academy as a dance major. He has trained in all forms of dance, but his passion is for contemporary and ballet. From a young age Nick was working professionally around Vegas. He did a commercial and a few short films for a local TV station and got into his first modeling gig at the trade show MAGIC when he was 10. He continued to work at trade shows dancing and modeling for a few more years until high school. At 18 he booked his first show at the MGM Grand Hotel in EFX Alive, and when that closed he moved right on to Le Follies Bergère. Then he made his move to Tokyo Disney for a year before landing in NYC in 2005. Outside of dancing he likes to practice his circus skills. He loves hand balancing, aerial work, and tumbling. He also likes to just hang out with friends or a good book in the park. One of his favorite sayings which is so true for his line of work is “you can’t have roots and wings” and his other saying that helps him when times are rough is “don’t focus on the past or future, just be”.
