This a just one example of how the supposed "new law" has made life difficult for many by falsely accusing them of sex trafficking. Here is an actual case:

Edit - from the article:

"Out of an abundance of caution, our employees are trained to report any activity that is out of the ordinary.

The article was published in January, 2016 more than two years prior to FOSTA/SESTA being passed. Not sure of the connection between the two.

Good point about the old 2016 date.

I had intended to furnish the current writing and link from the author. The link I presented was a former report that he referenced in his current report.

Here is a link to the author's current report talking about a different couple falsely accused of sex trafficking:

I think this most recent issue has more to do with racism than SESTA/FOSTA. Maybe the flight attendant assumed sex trafficking of a very young child was involved, but more than likely the flight attendant simply assumed the child was kidnapped since the color of the skin and last name of the child didn't match the mother.

My friend from St. Louis who loves her "failing" neighborhood public school carries her children's birth certificates with her whenever she flies for this very reason. She's white, but her husband is black and her kids are very obviously biracial but at least superficially don't look much like her.
